Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has been on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea, is an Irish actress writer and comedian. Bea first began her career with stand-up comedy in the year 2011, after playing a few small roles she played in Irish and British television dramas from 2009. In 2012 Bea began appearing on sitcoms or sketch comedy. In 2012, after winning an award during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for various panel shows where she was a frequent guest. In 2016 and 2017, she served as a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The child was born to Brian O'Sullivan as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. In 2012 she became the only woman in history to win the So You think You're Funny award. Bea is her name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on April 16, 1984, in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine doctor who committed suicide at the age of three. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she turned thirteen. In 2017 she wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and adopted her stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher, jockey trainer, and professional jockey for a time. The family was obsessed with races and horses. Bea started out her career as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that the racing industry wasn't for her.
